Ok. I’ll Vote for Biden.

It’s good that people spend this much time, and stress this much, about who to vote for. I’m ok with that. But, it does feel like we’ve been doing this a lot lately. Like, didn’t we just vote for President? In 2020? And we have to do it again? God. I think that bothers me the most, the having to do this chore constantly, over and over again. Sure, you can be one of the millions of people that don’t vote. You could be that kind of asshole. I don’t recommend it.

In 2020, we had a pandamic and a clearly crazy person at the helm of the ship. Biden was a known and we all said, “he’ll be fine.” And he has been. Biden has been a fine president. He hasn’t been great. He hasn’t been terrible. He’s just been ok. Yet, the level of vitriol that Biden is taking right now seems odd to me. My finger is not on the button of modern culture. I have no idea what is going on most of the time. I’m not on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram. I get most of my news from reading the Sunday edition of the Washington Post. In past years, I would be extremely worried and stressed about an election like this, but I don’t have it in me. My Mom died. Everything feels less now. But, I do want to spend some time articulating why I have no problem voting for Biden again. This isn’t to persuade any one of anything. I’m just bored.
