The End of the Republic

Many Americans, about 74 million of them, don’t believe in democracy. This is a problem. We’ll probably have a war or some kind of insane conflict because of it. People are already dying from it, so maybe that’s happening right now. Regardless, you should be worried. My wife and I decided not to have children many years ago and, more and more, that seems like the right decision.

We don’t need to debate if people have given up on democracy or that these people lean Right and vote for Republican. Any fucking moron that colored in their bubble for Donald Trump has wholesale given up on the idea of equality and unity and have decided to bath themselves in the hot blood of our dying republic. That’s clear. The question is: Why? And even though I am loathe to give two shits about people who keep destroying our country one bad decision after another, I think it is worth some time to try and figure out the particulars of these people’s stupidity.

Late Stage Capitalism

This is the most obvious answer and the one worth exploring the most. Capitalism is failing.
